Thoughts on the Song, “Mary, Did You Know?”

The softness of this song, “Mary Did You Know”, as sung by the Von Trap Family, is closest to the version of the song that I’m crushing on. Albeit isn’t settling inside me very well. Like a sliver that I can’t ignore, this song is haunting my heart. You see, no matter what singer or version is playing, I keep getting nudged by an undefined threat.

My relationship with Christ, my King and God, and knowing who He is, impressed me with a thought..

Would Christ want us to feel SAD? Sad around His DIVINE and privately sacred relationship with His Mother?
Really though? Is it our place to talk about Christ’s Mother’s experience? Or should I say, this imaginary one?
What I’m saying is.. It seems like, this song “Mary Did You Know?” which is sung by various artists, bears feelings of sadness to me. Sadness is not what Jesus is, and it is not our place to contrive it to be so. Even by alluding to the thought.
We are not Mary or Christ, and to comment on such a sacred thing, isn’t appropriate. I know this through my relationship with The Lord, it is clear to me, that Christ is ONLY the Light.

The Light of which NO DARKNESS can touch. No. and musing over the ‘MOOD” it brings, I feel they’re ignorant and pious .Because our Lord is the Light or anything other than darkness, grouping sadness with His name, doesn’t make sense.

Mary Did you know?Mary did you know that your baby boy will one day walk on water?Mary did you know that your baby boy will save our sons and daughters?Did you know that your baby boy has come to make you new? This child that you’ve delivered, will soon deliver you Mary did you know that your baby boy will give sight to a blind man?Mary did you know that your baby boy will calm a storm with his hand?Did you know that your baby boy has walked where angels trod? And when you kiss your little baby, you have kissed the face of God Mary did you know, Mary did you know, Mary did you know the blind will see, the deaf will hear and the dead will live again, The lame will leap, the dumb will speak, the praises of the lamb Mary did you know that your baby boy is Lord of all creation?Mary did you know that your baby boy will one day rule the nations?Did you know that your baby boy is heaven’s perfect Lamb? This sleeping child you’re holding is the great I am Mary did you know, Mary did you know, Mary did you know Authors: Lamont Savory / Buddy Greene / Mark Lowry / Courick Clarke / William Barclay / Wayne Buchanan

Our Lord should, by the very power He has taught us with and led us by, be given the same.

Baby Jesus..

It should be special, to compliment His Holy Royal majesty, with reverence. Giving respect to His Divinity, we should use our skills in a Celebration of His life. Suck as a deifying extol, to His Birth!! We, like Him, should show our Love with immeasurable joy, and hope. Celebrating Him!! Always, Forever.

He was our volunteer to do the needful WiLL of His and Our Father. The distinct comeliness Christ made for ALL MANKIND. Who’s desire above anything else, is for us to feel and know Love the way He has.

The most peace-filled version I’ve found yet, you can hear it by pressing that button. Yes, I am ATTRACTED to the VERY Holy Peace, that can only be granted, By the Great I AM!! Through Music, words, thoughts, actions it would go against our own spiritual divinity to follow a sorrowful theme of celebration. Merry Christmas and thanks for reading one of my earlier post I made on Blogger. If you want to see it, I placed a button to its link. Merry Christmas Everyone!! NLM
